The science fiction film Project Adam was released on Netflix in March 2022. The time-traveling story won over audiences, and the reviews were mostly positive. And the reviews have been mostly positive. Is it possible that there will be a sequel to the story -The Adam Project 2?
The plot of the movie
Adam, 12, is in school and is in constant conflict with his classmates, who bully him. This is the third time his mother has been summoned to school and threatened with expulsion. Adam has no father, he died a year and a half ago. One day, Adam sees a stranger in his father's garage. He is dressed as a pilot and is injured. The man acts strangely. He knows his name and knows who his mother is dating. The dog mistakes him for one of his own. The man also knows his way around a house. And he wears his father's watch. Exactly like the one Adam is wearing now. The boy realizes he sees himself, only 30 years older.
As an adult, Adam reveals that he is a pilot. He has a wife, Laura, whom he met at flight school. After another trip back in time, she disappeared. Adam wanted to go to 2018 to find Laura, but he failed and ended up in 2022. Adam is pursued by Sorian, the future leader of this dystopian world. And a former colleague of his father Louis, who stole his plans for a particle gas pedal. Laura saves Adam. All this time, she has led a lonely life, believing that Adam would come back for her.
During another attack by Sorian and his soldiers, Laura helps the Adams escape to 2018. There they meet her father Luis. They want to destroy the gas pedal. But Sorian's soldiers and herself (in two variations) try to thwart them. During the battle, Sorian tries to kill Luis. But a bullet hits Sorian the Younger. The present is thus destroyed, making the future impossible. The future Sorian simply disappears.
In the last seconds, Louis and the two Adams are saved. They realize that time is running out for them. Soon they are each moving in their own time. Louis realizes that if he sees his son, it means that something has happened to him. But he doesn't want to know how or when it will happen.
Project Adam 2: Plot Description
At the end of the first film, young Adam returns to the year 2022. He becomes closer to his mother, from whom he became estranged after the death of his father. And the older Adam becomes happier in the future. And one day he was to meet Laura again. Did his time travel end there? We will find out in Project Adam 2. Its release date has not yet been set.

- Walker Scobell stars as Adam Reed from 2022. The 1950 role of Adam went to Ryan Reynolds. He is known to viewers from the films Assassin's Bodyguard and Party King.
- The role of Louis Reed was played by American actor Mark Alan Ruffalo. He has many roles to his credit. There is the Hulk in The Avengers, Dylan in Deception.
- Ally, Adam's mother, is played by American actress Jennifer Ann Garner. She starred in Daredevil and Pearl Harbor.
