Peaky Blinders director Anthony Byrne revealed in an interview with Radio Times that the final episode of season six will be 81 minutes long. It will therefore be a feature-length finale and serve as a teaser for future films in the Peaky Blinders universe.
"It's extremely different from the rest of the season, from anything we've done before. And it's very epic in scale. It looks like a movie, yes, it's kind of a feature-length test," Byrne reported. Birmingham Live quotes him.
So far, the sixth season of Sharpened Visors has had four out of six episodes. The fifth series will air on the BBC on March 27 and the final episode on April 4. Previously, the creators of the series reported that filming of a movie based on Sharp Visors will begin in 2023.
